Micronutrients chelated with EDTA
Due to its excellent chelating properties, EDTA can e
ectively bind metal cations in a wide pH range and form new
substances through chelating reactions. By chelating with EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid), nutrient's
availability and solubility are increased, allowing plants to absorb it more e
ciently. Mn, Ca, Fe, Mg, Zn, and other
metal salts of the EDTA series of chelating agents have the advantages of good solubility and easy absorption and become
a good source of micro-fertilizers.
